This extension of Firestone Restaurant in San Luis Obispo is your go to for a famous Central Coast Tri Tip Sandwich. Their salads are also very tasty. If you want to stick to a hamburger, be sure to get it with those famous French fries. The dress code is casual.

This charming cozy Seafood Restaurant is one my absolute favorite. They do not take reservations, because they are so popular that they only do two seatings or so. The first seating is at 5:30pm, so people start to line up at 5pm, the second seating is at around 7pm. The later you arrive at around 8pm will shorten your wait time significantly. Everything on the menu is mouth watering. They have a great fire pit seating area to keep warm if you have to wait outside. Also they do not take credit cards. You have to bring cash. Worth the 15 minute drive to Cambria for sure.

This is another great restaurant near by that makes a tasty Bloody Mary. They also carry a few good beer taps. The food is good and the view is amazing. The upstairs seating is all outside with the great views, so wear layers or a jacket. The do have inside seating downstairs.

There are many popular sight seeing areas near by; here are some of my favorites
This historical castle is a great tourist attraction. They have many different tours available; reservations are recommended and it can get a little chilly up there too. Bring a jacket. Little ones under 8yrs old may not enjoy this as much the older kiddos

Morro Bay is a great hot spot, Morro Rock is not something to have to go directly to enjoy it. Visit Morro Bay and you are close to Morro Rock. The harbor walk has so many shops and restaurants to enjoy. This is also good for the kiddos.
