Dog Friendly beaches /Pubs in the area

Hi, Our cottages are all doggie friendly - so thought it would be a good idea to put a little guide together just for you and your special pal! However, if you find any other places that we haven't recommended/listed please do let us know and we'll add them here. Many thanks for your booking - have an amazing time in our special part of the world! Basically, West Wales is a very doggie friendly area - we have many lovely beaches and pubs that accept pets - here are some of my recommendations as below, I'll add the websites here too!): Llangrannog: A lovely dog friendly beach (restrictions from May- Oct. restrictions consist of taking dogs on the right hand side of beach and to next bay ( Cilborth) The coastal path runs from here for 60 miles (there are country walks from the cottage) but would definitely recommend the coastal path for Dolphin and seal watching. Dog friendly pubs: Pentre Arms (good pub grub - fresh fish when in season)) Beach Hut (Great home made food and cakes and fresh crab/lobster/fish when in season) Ship Inn (nice pub and atmosphere) Penbryn: National Trust beach - walk dogs to left of beach from (May- Oct 1st) , for two miles to Tresaith beach Sit outside The Ship Inn at Tresaith (has good above average pub grub) watch the sunset! Pwmp Tart: Sit outside on tables, Light lunches, great home made cakes - it gets busy on sunny days Aberaeron: Walks around the pretty harbour Outside seating at The Hive (For Dogs) - good food with harbour views The Harbourmaster: Not really dog friendly - Though there are a couple of outside tables - worth a visit if you want to treat yourself - great bar food /Bar and Restaurant Cardigan & St Dogmaels: Poppit Sands at St Dogmaels is fab for dog running - big expanses of beach (no restrictions) Beach Cafe - Dog friendly (I haven't experience this one as yet) The Ferry Inn @ St Dogmaels - there is a huge decking area (dog friendly and bar with views over the estuary) Pizza Tipi Cardigan - Pizza Tipi is located next to the River Teifi and the location provides stunning views. Pizza is well priced and there is also a handy text message service to let you know when it is ready. You will be met by furiendly staff who make your visit pawfect. Local drinks are on offer that are in keeping with this truly Welsh setting. Highly recommended, Pizza Tipi is a must place to visit if in Cardigan or the surrounding areas (review from Dog Friendly website) If you need any further tips or ideas do please let me know All best wishes Charlie & Spot
