This is a very popular restaurant in Mullingar town and booking in advance is definitely recommend! This is a casual dining experience and the food is always good.

This pub does a great trade in food - very much a casual dining experience but well worth a visit. Decor is quite dark! Food and service are excellent..

Things to See & Do In Our Area
Located a 25 minute drive from Brookland Meadows, Belvedere House, Gardens and Park are one of the most popular places to visit in our Area.
You can visit the house itself (built during the Georgian era), the walled garden which is beautiful during the Summer when in full bloom or walk around the stunning grounds which are bordered by Lough Ennell. The Estate also contains Ireland's largest folly, known as 'The Jealous Wall'
There is also a Visitor Centre and Coffee Shop

If you enjoy cycling then the The Old Rail Trail Greenway is for you!! Hop on your bike from the starting point at the Old Rail Trail Carpark in Mullingar and keep going to the town of Athlone (or for as far as you want!). Bicycles can be hired from www.mullingarbikehire.com if you don't have your own set of wheels.
The route which is 42km long in total is almost entirely flat and winds its way through the beautiful Westmeath Countryside. Why not take a picnic and stop off along what way?
We've done part of this route a number of times and always enjoy it..
