To get there you take the subway westbound direction number 1, 2 or 5 to Majorstuen, about a ten minute ride, then a five minute walk to get there. I think it is possible to book a guided tour there.

Outside of Oslo about 20km away there is a popular amusement park called Tusenfryd with all kind of great rollercoasters and amusement rides. Very fun in the summer if you like that kind of stuff, and it goes a bus there directly from the city centre.
