This is absolutely my favorite breakfast/lunch (even dinner) restaurant. It has authentic middle-eastern food with a really sweet staff and the ambiance is lovely. It also has outdoor seating.
(about 30 minute walk from the house...but...the walk is really nice through McCarren Park as well as seeing the best of hip Williamsburg on the way)

Super cool hotel (20 minute walk from house) with awesome rooftop outdoor bar, Westlight. Also, outdoor pool and great Italian restaurant, Leuca. Must do for drinks pre or post dinner.
