From the house follow the signs to Miazzina and then Alpe Pala. Go up until you can and park. From the little chapel to the hut (rifugio Pian Cavallone) it is around 1 and a half hour. On the way back you can cut through the village, for a shorter walk. Beautiful walk that will lead you to one of the most amazing gardens in the world. You will have to buy a ticket to enter, but it is worth it.

A 20/40 minutes ferry ride (depending on the itinerary) and you will get off in a small inhabited island in the middle of the lake. Very pleasant stroll to see how fishermen still leave. Many nice restaurants on the island.

Excellent pool and beach just by the water. You need to pay an entry ticket to enter the premise. Next to the public (and free) beach. As an adult nowadays, I mostly go to the free beach, but if you have young kids, you may want to consider spending some time at the pool, usually kids really like it. Two pools available, one for adults and a smaller one for kids.
