A little list of some of my favorite Restaurants and Bars in the city in general and close to our place!
This is MY NEIGHBORHOOD BAR.
Its cheaper than most NYC Bars/Restaurants and has a dive-bar charm.
Its nice during the summer (they open all the windows and you can sit outside too) and winter and everyone there is really friendly and fun. The vibe is fun and the crowd couldn't be more diverse.
They sell beer and liquor and really good, varied "bar food".
You`ll probably find me there 2 or 3 times a week.
They also usually play all the important soccer matches on several TVs - especially the Manchester United games (the owner is a fan).

Zum Schneider is not only the place I work at, its also one of the best german Bars/Restaurants in the city. It has the typical Munich Beergarden flair - outdoor seating - a huge german beer selection and very delicious german food. The food is a little "pricy" but I have never had better german food anywhere else in the city.
I love this place and I not only say that because I work there.
The vibe is a ton of fun and we have a lot of special events going on, especially during soccer games. We have a big screen to stream them.
We also host the biggest and most authentic Oktoberfest in NYC.
Come by for a beer or two and some delicious german food!

And if you need a snack to soak up some alcohol they have delicious pork/veggie dumplings for 3 (!) $ !!!

Tacos!!! Its a cute little spot very close to us and they have great mexican food and the best margaritas arounds. Try the grapefruit one! The Jalapeño one! The cucumber one! Oh, so many great options !!!

Its a cute, not too crowded speak-easy on the second floor of Burgary (decent custom burgers). Good spot for a date or if you just want to have a chill night out.

A great place for beer located in the west village. They have 29 different beers on tap and their 5-grilled cheese with Tomato soup is heavenly.
Its nice during the summer because they open up the windows and during the colder seasons they have their fire place running.

They have great seafood, lobster and oyster specials and really good deals. The have something called the red white and blue which is a deal for 9,99$ - 6 oysters or clams with a PBR or a glass of house red or white. You can also do a beer upgrade for 2$ more and a wine upgrade for 4$.
I also recommend the fried calamari there, the clam chowder or the Wonton Tuna.
Its very nice to sit and its a great vibe.

Hip and popular speak-easy in the west village located above a five guys. Just walk in the Five Guys way to the back where the bathrooms are and go up the stairs!

Its decorated with a ton of red little lamps and its always very crowded. especially during the weekends. Make sure to bring ID and be ready for a fun night. They are famous for their donkey drinks that come in donkey shaped mugs.

I have a lot of tattoos myself and have been to a lot of places around here so I thought in case you're thinking of a little souvenir I`d give you some suggestions!
One of the oldest Tattoo Studios around, they also have a little "museum" inside.
Diego is one of my favorite tattoo artists there, also Soon is a very good artist for smaller / fine line Tattoos.
They do walk-ins everyday.
