The museum was built to house every artifact found on the rock and on the surrounding slopes, from the Greek Bronze Age to Roman and Byzantine Greece. It also lies over the ruins of a part of Roman and early Byzantine Athens.
The museum was founded in 2003, while the Organization of the Museum was established in 2008. It opened to the public on 20 June 2009.[1] Nearly 4,000 objects are exhibited over an area of 14,000 square metres.

Mount Lycabettus, also known as Lycabettos, Lykabettos or Lykavittos (Greek: Λυκαβηττός), is a Cretaceous limestone hill at 300 meters (908 feet) above sea level.
The hill is a tourist destination and can be ascended by the Lycabettus Funicular, a funicular railway which climbs the hill from a lower terminus at Kolonaki (The railway station can be found at Aristippou street).
The 360 view over Athens is amazing.

The Blue Condominium (Greek: Μπλε πολυκατοικία) is an apartment building in Athens, Greece. Being an example of modern architecture in Athens, it is on the corner of Arachovis and Themistokleous Streets near Exarcheia’s center square, and was built in 1932-1933 for Kostis Antonopoulos who was also the builder and first owner of the building. It was designed by architect Kyriakoulis Panagiotakos while the initial dark blue colour of the façades was selected by painter Spyros Papaloukas
Today, the Blue Condominium, being stripped of its characteristic blue colour and with its innovations being considered obsolete, risks losing its own identity.
