I absolutely love being on Whiskeytown Lake--lots of recreational fun, sun, boating, kayaking, secret spots, paddle boarding, etc. The water is warmer than Lewiston and Trinity Lakes and parking passes are available at the main store at Oak Bottom, as well as a boat launch, a nice beach, stunning views and hiking/biking trails.

Whiskeytown Lake
I absolutely love being on Whiskeytown Lake--lots of recreational fun, sun, boating, kayaking, secret spots, paddle boarding, etc. The water is warmer than Lewiston and Trinity Lakes and parking passes are available at the main store at Oak Bottom, as well as a boat launch, a nice beach, stunning views and hiking/biking trails.

Also very popular is the Trinity Performing Arts Center showcasing live classical performances, plays, music, comedy and kids performances.

Great place for trinkets, jewelry, clothes, and a host of unique gifts. Everything in the shop is very reasonably priced and they usually have good sales on racks of clothes along the street. Very nice owners, Jean and her husband.

Holiday Market is the main anchor to the CVS store which is in the main shopping center in Weaverville (formerly Tops Market which has a Starbucks Coffee inside), Subway, Burger King, the Trinity River Restoration Offices, Big Valley real estate office, and a great fishing store.
