Perched high on a cliff with sweeping vistas of the jewel toned ocean below, you come for the culture but stay for the view at Tulum’s ruins. Tip: arrive early!

The archaeological site covers an area of 6.5 square kms. Composed by the south area that dates back to the VII century and shows the maya Puuc construction style and the central area, built after the arrival of the Toltecs around the 10th century, it shows the fusion of the Puuc architectural styles and the central highlands of Mexico.

this is one of the top diving spots in Riviera Maya, although its name suggests it is only one big cenote, it really consists of several cenotes meandering along the verdant jungle floor and connected by wooden walkways. The color of the water is so clear that one can see fish swimming without even snorkeling. Gran Cenote is one of the most popular spots to snorkel.

Cenote Esconidot & Cristal are just a 4 min drive from the house, these two cenotes have the same entrance and ticket booth but are on opposite sides of the 307 Highway. Both cenotes have clear water and are surrounded by tropical plants. Of the two cenotes, Cenote Cristal is probably the more popular. Cenote Cristal is a beautiful cenote with space around it to lay out in the sun after swimming.
