Great place to start an exploration of a local favorite and one of the largest urban parks in the U.S.. Dozens of miles of hiking and sightseeing. Vistor Center has a beautifully done interpretive center and art gallery of local wildlife. It also has an excellent library of local Kumeyaay culture, history and the region.
