This is a very pretty falls and it is a fairly short and easy walk from the parking lot to the falls. There are steps involved but it is not difficult at all. There is a pit toilet in the parking lot for your use. I would certainly recommend a stop here to admire this nice waterfall.

Great ski resort with. A lot of history in this place and great green runs from the top of the mountain.
The lodge is old and very spacious there is a bar area as well as food service, rentals and lessons for the little ones.

Given its proximity to Boston (2h driving), Waterville is a pleasantly large mountain with a lot of higher level runs (also a lot of beginner runs too of course, but I’ve found many of the mountains near Boston to be too beginner-heavy, which Waterville was a nice change from). Not very crowded either, which is great. Beautiful views at the top!

1 Ski Area RdGiven its proximity to Boston (2h driving), Waterville is a pleasantly large mountain with a lot of higher level runs (also a lot of beginner runs too of course, but I’ve found many of the mountains near Boston to be too beginner-heavy, which Waterville was a nice change from). Not very crowded either, which is great. Beautiful views at the top!

The Highland Center offers a hiker shuttle to nearby trails
With access to an extensive trail network, you can hike to the southern Presidential peaks, rock climb nearby Elephant Head, ice climb at Frankenstein Cliffs, or play in Arethusa or Ripley Falls with family and friends in tow. Winter offers the opportunity to cross-country ski or downhill ski at Bretton Woods. Follow historic footsteps as you climb to the summit of nearby Mount Willard for one of the most legendary views in the White Mountains.
