Beaches
The VI and BVI have too many beautiful beaches to mention, but here are some highlights!
Magens is St. Thomas's most famous beach. Along with its beauty it has a concession, bar, and bathrooms which is great. The beach is very large, so even on a busy day you can avoid the crowds if you go left or right.

In my personal opinion Lindquist is the most beautiful beach on St. Thomas. For a relaxing, beautiful day go to Lindquist. There is not a concession so back a cooler. Must have cash to enter. Not very much shade. Across the street is Golden Age Ranch where you can rent horses to ride on the beach.

Lindqvist Beach

Coki offers the best snorkling on St. Thomas. You will be offered to purchase dog bones on the beach. The fish love them and will swarm around you. It's really a cool sight. Snorkling and diving gear is rented on the beach. There are also a few little bars. Parking is limited and the beach gets very crowded when we have more than 2 cruise ships at port. If you plan on going to Coki check the newspaper and see how many ships will be in the following day. Sundays later afternoon has a DJ.

Coki offers the best snorkling on St. Thomas. You will be offered to purchase dog bones on the beach. The fish love them and will swarm around you. It's really a cool sight. Snorkling and diving gear is rented on the beach. There are also a few little bars. Parking is limited and the beach gets very crowded when we have more than 2 cruise ships at port. If you plan on going to Coki check the newspaper and see how many ships will be in the following day. Sundays later afternoon has a DJ.
Sapphire is very fun on Sundays. There is either a DJ or live music and a restaurant right on the beach. Very family friendly.

Sightseeing
Take the tram up to Paradise Point or drive up and enjoy the view. Wednesday night there is live calypso music. It's a fun night for families.

I highly recommend going to St. John. It is a beautiful island that is 80% National Park. Either take the walk on ferry (runs every hour from Red Hook) and just walk around Cruz Bay or take the car ferry and make a whole day of it. There are great restaurants, historic sights, hiking trails, and pristine beaches.

Water Island is a fun place for families to hang out for the day. Its a 10 minute ferry from Crown Bay St. Thomas. Gulf Carts are rented and you can drive around the island and explore. Honeymoon beach is fun and has two restaurants.

Many of the bars are open late night in Havensight.

Havensight Mall
Havensight is where the majority of the cruise ships port. You can shop in Havensight or enjoy the bar / restaurant scene. Everything is walking distance. The docks are also pretty to walk at night and the plaza connects to Yacht Haven Grande. Another marina with lots of boats and a few bars and restaurants. Many of the bars are open late night in Havensight.

Excellent Food! Very intimate, small restaurant located in Frenchtown. Great for a date night or a small group dinner. Reservations are required.

Brooks is somewhat of a hole in the wall, but the food is awesome! If you want to try local fish, chicken, or meats I highly recommend stopping at Brooks. Brooks is directly above Magens on the side of the road. It's a great stop on the way home from the beach. Portions are huge. Cash only.

6200 Magen's Bay RdBrooks is somewhat of a hole in the wall, but the food is awesome! If you want to try local fish, chicken, or meats I highly recommend stopping at Brooks. Brooks is directly above Magens on the side of the road. It's a great stop on the way home from the beach. Portions are huge. Cash only.
Box Bar is a very cute bar in Yacht Haven Grande. They have great drinks. No food, but there are plenty of restaurants in the area. If you are traveling with children it's a good spot because they can play Jenga or run in the grass.

ITP is a very casual bar / restaurant overlooking the harbor. It’s located in Red Hook amongst many other bars. Great pizza and cool ambiance.

Lanai is located on Lime tree road on the South side of the island. They offer ocean side dining. The food is great and the ambiance is perfect. Highly recommend!
