This restaurant is a hole in the wall. It's located about a half hour away from the apartment but if you are a foodie, it's sure to please. They have one of the BEST home cooked Italian foods I have ever had (and I eat out a lot). Their lasagna and deep fried zucchini blossoms are to die for. They pride themselves on offering the most authentic Italian cuisine this side of the Big Apple!

This is the best breakfast spot in town. They have incredible specialty pancakes and omelets and it's only about 5 minutes away from the apartment. They serve breakfast until late evening. Call for hours.

Do you like Sushi? Then you will LOVE black Sushi! This unassuming restaurant serves a WIDE variety of dishes including ones made with black rice. If you have time I highly reccomend checking it out.

If you are looking for something new to try I would recommend getting some Ethiopian food at Lucy's. It's a hole in the wall but they offer one the best menus. I would recommend ordering several of the dishes to eat with their special spongy Ethiopian bread.

The Niagara Parkway, is a scenic road in Ontario that travels on the Canadian side of the Niagara River from the town of Fort Erie to Niagara-on-the-Lake. The parkway was referred to by Sir Winston Churchill, having been driven down it, as "the prettiest Sunday afternoon drive in the world." You will travel past several historic wineries and estates and they all offer tastings at prices next to nothing. I would highly recommend a visit.

This area has natural methane gas coming out of the ground. There's one that has been burning for years and it's right behind a waterfall. It's a very easy hike and well-marked and the whole trail takes about 40 minutes. I highly recommend checking it out while you are in the area. You will be very pleased.

Devil's Hole State Park overlooks the Devil's Hole Rapids. The park has picnic areas, scenic overlooks and hiking trails, and is one of the more popular spots for fishing. A stone staircase leads down to the base of the gorge and the Devil's Hole Trail, which offers spectacular views of the rapids and gorge rock layers.
