Megalithic Temples older than Stonehenge, overlooking the sea near Wied iz Zurrieq. there is also the Mnajdra Temples 500 metre to visit also.

also called L-Ahrax...its off the beaten path . Drive to Armier Bay Beach, find the campsite, park and walk from there....the views of comino are amazing too.

two coves ideal for diving or snorkelling, and a sunbathing patio. used mainly by divers and the Maltese. Also at the top is a good value restaurant called 'ritas'.

i have never been, but everyone i have talked to have recommended a visit..so Im passing on the info, especially if WW2 is 'your thing'.
