Nice is one of the most beautiful and versatile places to visit on the Côte d'Azur. It has everything from stunning beaches, a pretty old town, fantastic restaurants, to amazing views and rich culture.
Start by strolling along the 7-miles long Promenade des Anglais, filled to the brim restaurants, beach clubs, and ice-cream stalls. You will be spoiled for choice of beaches, including family-friendly Ruhl beach. Climb the stairs to the Castle Hill for some spectacular panoramic views of the city.
Don’t miss the famed Nice Jazz Festival in July, or join the famous February Carnival, one of the biggest in the world. Nice has no shortage of fantastic museums—Museum of Archaeology, Musée Matisse and Modern Arts Museum among many others—and is famous for its “La Belle Epoque” architecture.

There are nine gardens on the estate, each in a different style. They are classified by the French Ministry of Culture as the Notable Gardens of France.
The villa is also the location of the annual summer Opera Azuriales festival.

Loup

These twin emerald islands are only 15-min ferry ride from Cannes. They boast unspoiled nature and pristine beaches. The largest of the two islands, Île Sainte-Marguerite, harbors hidden coves, tidal pools, and beaches and several well-marked walking trails.
Île Saint-Honorat is an interesting place too. It is home to the Abbaye de Lérins, where 20 Cistercian brothers live a life of solitude, tending acres of vineyards from which they make award-winning organic wines. You can easily spend an entire afternoon strolling through the monks' vineyards and olive groves.
There are several great dining options on the islands, from sandwich shops to fine dining.
