This island near the Canal Walk has a bridge that connects the north and south sides of the James.
The “T. Pott Bridge” sits atop the remnants of a former hydroelectric dam. This wheelchair, pedestrian and bike-friendly span links Brown's Island to the north and Manchester to the south, and offers spectacular views of the power of the James River.

Ukrop's prepared food is awesome. When the stores closed, you could still find a few of Ukrop's prepared foods at Kroger's and other local grocers like Libby Market.
This new place has all you could ask for in prepared foods.
