Sightseeing
The Dorset Tower is both a great attraction and a historical landmark. It was built in 1967 on the site of the original fire tower where rangers once kept an eye out for potentially disastrous forest fires. The trail begins behind the Dorset Heritage Museum and winds its way through a beautiful mixed forest from the base of the lookout hill to the top, and back down again. The incline is fairly steep in places so sturdy shoes and a reasonable level of fitness are recommended. The total trail is 2.3km long. Taking time at the top of the lookout is a must while hiking this trail.

The three-level, 104-foot Lady Muskoka has been meandering down the Muskoka River and into Lake Muskoka, granting up to 300 passengers at a time an intimate look at the wildlife, the nearby cottages, and Millionaire's Row. And what's more: for all 2 hours and 45 minutes of each tour, passengers can sip their drink of choice and snack on everything from hotdogs and pizza to our famous on-board lunch.

Lady Muskoka Cruises
300 Ecclestone DrThe three-level, 104-foot Lady Muskoka has been meandering down the Muskoka River and into Lake Muskoka, granting up to 300 passengers at a time an intimate look at the wildlife, the nearby cottages, and Millionaire's Row. And what's more: for all 2 hours and 45 minutes of each tour, passengers can sip their drink of choice and snack on everything from hotdogs and pizza to our famous on-board lunch.
Baysville brewery is only minutes away from our cottage. Refill the growlers we have or purchase cans right from the Brewey. Enjoy a tour of the brewey or sit back with a cold beer and enjoy the live music on the weekends.

Huntsville is located in the hilly terrain of the Canadian Shield and is dotted with many lakes. It’s a 25 min drive from our cottage. A quaint town with lots of little shops with restaurant patios overlooking the lake. Head into town for some Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream
