This place is a 5 star. Really good healthy, local, creative mexican food ; and, we loved the fresh churros and vanilla ice cream for dessert. Drinks were refreshing as well.

Ok I absolutely love this place. It's beautiful and quaint Botanical Garden, and so pretty and completely unique, that it even regularly hosts weddings and other celebratory events here Thursday's thru Mondays. There is a cute cafe with great, delicious food, homemade pie, and a really cute store with butterflies and cut baby goats nearby, you can hold .... this is a must go to. You can also basically buy pretty much anything you see here displayed around the property. It's free to get into and one of my favorite places. Put this on your itinerary for sure ;)

It's really pretty and unique and a great place for photos. A definite must. They always have special events, so check their calendar.

Keys Creek Lavender Farm

I always take friends here, pulling in there are tons of varieties of lavender growing. there is a meditation garden, cute shop, little cafe in season, workshops, with so much more. It's really pretty and unique and a great place for photos. A definite must. They always have special events, so check their calendar.
This is a nice hike, great place to bring a picnic. Probably half is shaded. Its pretty flat, with a few areas to climb around. I've only gone as far as the swimming area, which is about 30 min. in. You pard in this parking lot, and walk/hike through this beautiful forest and you'll meet a few people with dogs, and lots of friendly other hikers, and then all the the sudden it opens up to the really nice water area with people playing in the water to cool off, kids in their bathing suits. This is a nice easy hike. I'd recommend. I like to do this earlier or later in the day. Pretty close :)

This is definitely a cool place to visit, it's part of the fabric of the area with so many horses in this part of the county. 500 Stalls. An equestrian training and physical therapy center for world class horses and race horses.

This is 23 miles away, about a 45 ish min drive, but If you have not been here yet, this is amazing to see. Schedule the tour if can too. Check out the website and it is totally worth the drive. Pack a picnic.

This place is less that five minutes away, so close you can see the winery from our driveway.... It nice with incredible panoramic 180 degrees of the ocean and countryside as it's up high. It has this breathtaking rooftop patio to enjoy your tastings.

They also do offsite yoga at local wineries, goat yoga at a cute local farm, and water yoga on paddleboard-like yoga mats. Definitely try or go to. Check schedule or call. It's a great and friendly place for all levels or beginners.. They also have cute stuff to buy if you need and it's very reasonable.

This is a really nice course with stunning views. It is semi-private. It's around 15 minutes away. If you haven't been here, it's challenging and might turn into one of your favorite courses.

If you've ever thought of it, is this on your bucket list.... this is the place to go. You can see the ocean as you jump the instructors have lots of hours of jumps.;) Need to do this. Also you can a lot of times find groupons.

Ok this is so fun and we've been here and done this a ton of times. It's really close. You can pack a lunch, look for a groupon, and bring water. Fun family day, even if you want to hang back and just take pictures.... it's a good day.

This place is free to go to and you don't have to be Buddhist. It's a beautiful place and you can meditate or take in the views and two days a week the offer free like a meditation (how to meditate basically) sessions and then kind of a 30 min Buddhist 101 class. It's not religious, but more spiritual. The views are spectacular & there are garden areas to wander & a giant Budda, but be mindful there monks living there. People are extremely friendly. Also there is a super cool 100 year old live giant tortoise there & lots of little turtle statues & someone said that turtles in life are a reminder to slow down in life, to stop and look around, and just be present. I liked that.
