Biking is the best way to get around
Walking - From our accommodation you are within walking distance of the Vondelpark (1 minute), museum square (20 minutes) and the city centre/Dam square (45 minutes).
Biking - is the best way to get around - check out the 3 rental shops recommended. Most places within the city are accessible within 20 minutes with this mode of transport.
Trams - are an efficient mode of transport. They can be purchased at a counter or device, at Schiphol, at train stations and at newsagents or supermarkets. You can also purchase a disposable card on the tram and/or bus.
The number 2 or 11 trams take you into town.
Uber - most expensive mode of transport but is quick and efficient as there are plenty of cars available. An Uber to the airport is usually between €25 - €30. Ubers within the city will be approximately €10 - €20.

For sure pre book the Anne Frank House and the Van Gogh Museum. Tickets for most museums can be pre booked online and means you can avoid the queues.
In general it's always best to pre book restaurants especially for Friday & Saturday evenings.
