The Track, nestled in the heart of historic Pinehurst, is the oldest continuously operating equine sports facility in the state. The 111-acre Harness Track has been a winter training center for Standard-bred horses since 1915, including 10 champions. Now a harness racing landmark and home to an annual matinee, the Harness Track was placed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. Here you will find both a piece of history and the home of champions.

Southern Pines is a charming "small town" with a population of about 18,000.
It has a wonderful Historic District with boutique style shops and great restaurants, all just a mile from Duncraig Manor. Big Box stores and franchise food establishments are only 2-3 miles from Duncraig. The area is known for Golfing, Tennis, Hiking, Biking and Horse Riding opportunities. What more could you want?
