One of the biggest and most beautiful parks in London. The park has two cafes, The Pavilion Cafe in the West and The Park Cafe in the East. There are two playgrounds, one on either side of the park, as well as sporting facilities and a skatepark in the East. The park is home to many historic artefacts and features and has decorative gardens and wilder natural areas as well as open grasslands and a boating lake. Victoria Park is also used as a concert venue and hosts Lovebox and Field Day every year.

Although it's getting busier these days, Haggerston Park was and still is a bit of a well-kept secret. Whilst not as big as the London Fields and Victoria Parks, it's a lot more 'local' and usually quieter. Hackney City Farm is on the Hackney Road side of the park. There's also a great Italian restaurant/cafe Frizzante. Reasonably priced and good food.

Yorkton StreetAlthough it's getting busier these days, Haggerston Park was and still is a bit of a well-kept secret. Whilst not as big as the London Fields and Victoria Parks, it's a lot more 'local' and usually quieter. Hackney City Farm is on the Hackney Road side of the park. There's also a great Italian restaurant/cafe Frizzante. Reasonably priced and good food.

There's lots of Vietnamese restaurants in the area and most are good and reasonably priced, but this is my favourite. Spicy pho, steamed rolls, Vietnamese salads and noodles. If you Vietnamese food you'll love it here.

Columbia Road Flower Market is open every Sunday from 8am til 3(ish)pm, with the street’s shops following suit (check individual shops for specific opening times). Columbia Road is in the East End, sitting on the edge of the City, with Shoreditch to the west and Brick Lane and Spitalfields both nearby.
Every Sunday, the street is transformed into a bustle of foliage and flowers. Everything from bedding plants to 10-foot banana trees are up for grabs. The air is intense with the scent of flowers and herbs, and the sound of barrow boys chanting “Everthin’ a fiver”. The stallholders either grow their own plants or import them from around the world.
