This site outside Howick is where Nelson Mandela was arrested on 5 August 1962. It holds enormous significance for the country as visitors get to learn about the most amazing President we have ever had.

I definitely recommend the Estuary Boat Cruise. It’s a 2-hour long boat cruise along the mangrove-rich shoreline of St. Lucia Estuary, getting up close to Hippopotamuses, Nile Crocodiles, Fish Eagles, other bird species. You may also get to see Buffalo, Waterbuck, Elephant, and Leopards.

I definitely recommend the Estuary Boat Cruise. It’s a 2-hour long boat cruise along the mangrove-rich shoreline of St. Lucia Estuary, getting up close to Hippopotamuses, Nile Crocodiles, Fish Eagles, other bird species. You may also get to see Buffalo, Waterbuck, Elephant, and Leopards.
Head out in a covered 4x4 vehicle with an experienced guide, and learn about the local flora and fauna while enjoying the amazing views.
On the drive, keep your eyes peeled for wildebeest, impala, blesbok, zebra, and giraffe, as well as a variety of bird species. Game drives start from 9 AM and go out every hour on the hour until 3 PM.
