Beautiful bike ride in the summer across the most scenic part of Holland. This old little down is situated perfectly along the water and farmer fields. Would definitely recommend to rent a bike in the summer and bike to Durgerdam.

Very laidback, not so busy. Many hip restaurants and bars but not so crowded as the tourist areas in Amsterdam. There is a park where you can sit and relax in the summer. In the summer there is often music playing and it is very friendly atmosphere.
It has many museums like Tropen museum, Jewish museum and the Artis Zoo.
