If you like the seaside then you will like Scarborough. Lots of fish restaurants and typical seaside stores. Take in the views from Scarborough Castle, or take a walk along the cliff tops near Bempton Top and look at all the magnificent wildlife.
Scarborough is accessible via the bus stop outside the Homestead.

York is a stunning City with lots to see and do. You can take a bus direct from the Homestead, and visit the magnificent York Minster, or take a trip back in time with the York Dungeons. York is seen more spectacularly by taking a walk around the City walls.

Thornton-le-dale is a picture perfect village, with a stunning thatched cottage. A beautiful walk around the village will take you past the chocolate shop, and the lovely band stand, then past the famous ice cream parlour. From Thornton-le-dale you can walk up to the amazing Dalby Forest National Park.
