The San Antonio Zoo has some amazing animals and exhibits. Both kids and adults enjoy their time at the zoo. Recently some rides from Kiddie Park were placed within the zoo and kids can enjoy them for an additional fee. The Brackenridge Park train is very close to the zoo and is a fun ride through the park.

To get there it’s a little bit of a hike but well worth it. The lake is the perfect size for families or for groups or even as an individual. You can rent kayaks, stand up paddle boards, and canoes. The lake is wonderful to swim in and as long as there’s not a burn ban in effect you can barbecue there as well. Some days there are food trucks there also.
