Sadly for 2017 the iconic capsized purple cow where the action usually takes place has moved residence to the North of England, however there is still a great vibe at the Underbelly festival. Just off of the South Bank, there are plenty of food and drink options here and you may want to check the Box office to see what shows are on offer. We recently saw briefs, which I can only describe as a high flying, acrobatic drag show (AMAZING) but there are many things happening here all throughout the summer.

For a somewhat new viewpoint of the city try the view from the Shard; a little pricey and must be booked in advance but it is a pretty spectacular view! Apparently you can get drinks up there now as well...! worth going around sunset for the best of both; daytime and nighttime views!

Quire far out of town, but in my opinion one of the most beautiful castles I have ever visited. Spend the day exploring Windsor, there are some real quaint little places to explore!

Take a stroll along the South Bank for some great photo opportunities, start at Westminster Bridge and meander along the river all the way to Tower Bridge. Cafes, bars and entertainment all the way along with great views!
