This restaurant used to be tucked in the hills in Tintenbar, but has now moved into Ballina. The fact that a french restaurant could thrive in this area says enough about the quality of the food. Not for the budget conscious but not crazy prices either.

Beautiful beach 12 minutes away. A lot less busy than Byron. Gorgeous scenic walk at the south end of the beach up and around the headland to beaches beyond. Lovely village with restaurants and cafes.

Great day trip - about 45 minute drive. Stunning views from the lookout and plenty of great walks, including a track to the natural swimming pools below. Take food and water.
