Sightseeing
Adventure to the Top End and discover the unique Territory experiences. From day trips to waterfalls and National Parks, to holding baby crocodiles in the heart of the city, there's a lot to learn and love about Darwin.
Litchfield and Kakadu are great National Parks to visit. Hire a car and you can do Litchfield as a day trip. Florence Falls and Buley Rockhole are two of the favourites and approximately an hour and a half drive from Darwin. Berry Springs is 35 mins from the City. Kakadu you would need to do as an overnight and is a great camping option with lots of camp grounds and facilities. Before heading to any of the parks please check whether they are open as they do close during periods of the year.

Champagne Sunset Sail is truly a delightful experience and as the name says, how perfect to be sailing on the harbour at sunset, with a bubbles in hand. Relax on the nets at the front of the boat, see breathtaking sunsets and graze on finger food (which the servings are generous and the service is spot on). Unlimited bubbles, magic sunsets and tasty food, as you sail along the Darwin Harbour. This is one of my favourite activities and hope you enjoy too!

Electric Scooters, Bicycles and the Darwin Bus Exchange
You’ll notice the purple scooters and bikes parked conveniently in your travels. To make use of these, download the Beam App, get set up with an account and you’re ready to scoot and cycle. Check the zones for the areas you can and can’t commute within. The Darwin Bus Exchange is located in the city and has bus routes to take you to all points of Darwin and outer region Palmerston. Check out the timetable online at the NT Gov website.
