Ocho Rios is a tourist area with lots of street vendours. Please decline any unwanted attention/purchases firmly but respectfully.

Gem Palace Foreign Currency Exchange
To obtain the best exchange rate please nvisit Gem Palace on Main Street. This is a short walk from the property along Main Street just before you get to the Moon Palace Hotel. Enter the store and walk to the door at the back. Advise them that you have come from Eshae Living and that you wish to exchange your currency for Jamaican or US dollars. They will give you a written exchange rate that you must take outside to the front of the store. Provide your ID, funds and the written exchange rate to the teller behind the screen. Count your funds once you receive them. A receipt will be provided.
