one of my favourite dinner places – not touristy, so please don’t ask for too many extra options, but rather have them recommend you their daily recommendations and go for it. If possible, stop by a day before and make a reservation.

My absolute FAVORITE: go there around noon/early afternoon, try pintxos/tapas a the tapas bar LA TAPITA inside (in middle of North aisle of market) – then buy fresh seafood at a stand close to the bar in the southeast oft he market and ask them (at the bar) to prepare it freshly for you. They only charge you a little extra (€5-10) for preparing it perfectly – fish, prawns, clams, lobster... – and of course you order your drinks there. Then enjoy the afternoon sun at that corner which will be crowded after a while. Although not 100% allowed, must people stand outside or even sit on the stairs next the bar (make sure not to block the access).
