Appartiene a Villasimius uno dei tratti di costa più spettacolari della Sardegna, che ospita spiagge bianchissime ed un imponente patrimonio ambientale, tutelato dall’Area Marina Protetta di Capo Carbonara, divisa in due ampie baie dall’omonimo promontorio. Alla particolare geografia del territorio si deve l’enorme varietà del patrimonio costiero di quest’area, che alterna lunghi arenili sabbiosi, maestosi tratti rocciosi, piccole mezzelune celate dalla vegetazione.
It belongs to Villasimius one of the most spectacular stretches of coast in Sardinia, which is home to white beaches as well as an impressive environmental heritage protected by the Marine Protected Area of Capo Carbonara, which is divided into two bays by the homonymous promontory. To this particular geography of the territory we owe the enormous variety of the coastal heritage of this area, which alternates between long sandy shores, majestic rocky stretches, small beaches immersed in vegetation.

Nelle vie del centro si possono trovare negozi di ogni genere, dove fare shopping nelle tante botteghe di artigianato ed ovviamente prodotti di tipo gastronomico. Il centro di Villasimius inoltre è pieno di localini ed è sempre molto affollato e diventa un punto di ritrovo per centinaia di persone, ed è per questo motivo che la strada principale del centro viene chiusa al traffico e diventa interamente pedonale.
