At the moment you can drive there and go strawberry picking which is fun if sunny! Ive been told it also does a great breakfast.

This is a great place for a drink or I always eat here. People travel far to have lunch / dinner. It is open for food all day however I would recommend you book. It is a gastro pub quite chic but relaxed and the food is excellent.

Another gastro pub in the village of Baldwins Gate a 5 minute drive from the house. The Block House focuses on steaks and great burgers. Great pub at the front.

Sightseeing
This is a historic wood / forest which is a ten minute drive from the house. You can park outside the wood which has a sign. There are large paths that you can walk through. My favourite walk is if you turn left and your walk will take you through pine trees on the right and open meadows on the left.

The Parish of Loggerheads has a large number of stunning walks, there are numerous public footpaths zig zagging their way through our beautiful parish. We have an active Footpaths Committee who make sure that any blocked footpaths or damaged styles and waymarkers are reported to Staffordshire County Council.

2) Market Drayton ten minutes away with a great Tudor Joules pub. The home of gingerbread.
3) Nantwich another gorgeous market town with walks.
4) Shrewsbury - turn right out of Oak House and keep driving for 25 minutes - very straight road and you get to historic Shrewsbury.
5) Chester - the famous walled city. Great for shopping / having tea at the Chester Grosvenor and walking along the Roman walls.
6) Manchester is one hour away.
