The legendary Calypso's Isle described in Homer's Odyssey, Gozo is an idyllic Mediterranean island of quaint fishing villages and peaceful bays. The pastoral landscape features green, rolling hills with a patchwork of small farms that lead down to sandy beaches and small coves. This rural destination feels farther from Malta than the eight-kilometer channel separating the two islands would suggest.
I would recommend to take a hop on hop off bus (around 15 euros) so you will have the chance to see as much as posible from the island.

Gozo

The pastoral landscape features green, rolling hills with a patchwork of small farms that lead down to sandy beaches and small coves. This rural destination feels farther from Malta than the eight-kilometer channel separating the two islands would suggest.

Best beaches
One of the fiew sand beaches. It's really cosy, but gets really full of locals in the weekends, so I would go during the week.
The restaurant just up the beach is great and the view amazing.

It is hard to get used to the hard Maltese rock beaches... But completely worth it 😁

Service is not amazing, as it is normally inexperienced people, but the food is good and prices are cheap.
In the summer they have outdoor jacuzzy and sunbeds, and shisha all year around.

This theatre takes you on a unique journey of Malta’s rich history and culture in the form of a spectacular 3D show. The auditorium not only treats visitors to moving seats, air blasts, water spray and even leg ticklers while watching the film, but is also available in 17 different languages (there are a few non-moving seats for those who are a little unsure). The 20-minute footage takes you on a fast-paced journey, bringing some of Malta’s finest history to life.

Suitable for the whole family, the museum has an interactive children’s area accompanied by educational materials and activities. Areas within the gallery are also allocated to temporary exhibitions, showcasing a wide range of art all year.
