This trestle is impressive and a must see if you’re looking for a spectacular walk/hike/bike ride! It is one of the worlds largest free-standing timber trestle bridges, standing 44 meters high and 173 meters long! Approximately 1 hour and 10 minute (62km) drive to the beautiful Cowichan Valley.

Featuring self-guided tours, petting farm, trails, a farm gate store offering tastings and locally made cheese, wine and meats and they have the BEST fresh milk on the island and it’s available on tap!! You can take an empty jug and fill it for the road. There’s also Little Qualicum Cheeseworks and Mooberry Wine at the same location
