This is a National Park where you can spend some time hiking and photogaphing. A car is required for this trip or you can hire one of the guides/drivers at the entrance. You can walk around the Limpiopungo Lagoon before driving to the car park for the refuge which is at 4800 masl

A large lagoon inside the crater of the Quilotoa Volcano, you can hike down to the waters edge and enjoy a kayak on the water. In the small village of Quilotoa there are restaurants, handicrafts and sightseeing.
