Aubeterre-sur-Dronne is about half an hour from us. Visit the beautiful town that steps down to the river. There are two magnificent churches; one carved into the cliffs. There are restaurants and bars with plenty of outside seating. Down by the river you can swim from the beach or take a canoe trip on the placid water.
