La Jolla Cove is a small, picturesque cove and beach that is surrounded by cliffs in La Jolla, San Diego, California. The Cove is protected as part of a marine reserve; underwater it is very rich in marine life, and is popular with snorkelers, swimmers and scuba divers.

It is not much of a hike; it is more of a two-mile walk that you can take at whatever pace you would like and spend as little or as much time exploring the beauty. I say explore, as every 20 feet it seems like there is another staircase that leads to a small secluded beach, sea cave, or even just another part of the cliffs that you can walk out on. All of this provides many options when checking out the Sunset Cliffs. Gorgeous sunsets. It is also right by Ocean Beach. So if you like a "hippie" vibe and shops it is fun to check out and have Tacos in Southbeach - ocean front - considered one of the best Tacos in San Diego.

You can also enjoy watching sports at Draft that is in the park and beachfront and Cannoball Sushi that has Happy Hour prices every weekday from 3-5.

If you love comedy shows like me this place is a must go. They always have great comedians. In a more "slow" night like a weekday you might be able to get your name on the list if you call them and say you are visiting. It is always 2 drinks minimum per person.

The USS Midway Museum is a historical naval aircraft carrier museum located in downtown San Diego, California at Navy Pier. The museum consists of the aircraft carrier Midway. The ship houses an extensive collection of aircraft, many of which were built in Southern California. Lots of planes and aircraft. Highly recommend especially if you have kids. They LOVE it!
