City Park is one block east of the rental and home to miles and miles of amazing walking & running paths (dirt and/or paved), several playgrounds, tons of tennis courts, horseshoe pits and tons of room for lawn games/activities. Don't miss an amazing sunset at either of the two lakes, the larger of which you can rent a paddleboat at for a little cruise around.

Not your typical Botanic Gardens - the Denver Botanic Gardens is also an amazing concert venue. Be sure to check out the line up and prepare yourself with some delicious food & beverages as it's all fine to bring in with you (alcohol too!). There are height restrictions on seating you bring, but the venue is amazing and gives you access to the grounds. It's an amazing way to experience the DBG!

Best ramen in town without question. It's in the Highlands neighborhood on the west side of I-25 so it's little trek but worth it. Be prepared for a wait as it's a desirable spot to eat.

Like to rock climb indoors? There are ton of great gyms in Denver, but my favorite is Movement Climbing on 5th. There is bouldering specific Movement in RiNo (neighborhood) too that is pretty spectacular if you prefer to boulder, but they don't offer any roped climbs.

If you're here to ski/snowboard, do yourself a favor and go to Winter Park Resort. It's one of the first exits on I-70 to a ski resort so you'll save yourself TONS of time skipping the parking lot like traffic that unfortunately defines weekend mornings & evenings on I-70 west of the city and into the mountains.
It's a world-class resort with tons of amazing terrain for everybody.

It's a world-class resort with tons of amazing terrain for everybody.
Window shop Pearl Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado just 40 minutes northwest of Denver. Make a day of it and enjoy one of the many outdoor activities that Boulder makes readily accessible. Don't expect big box retailers. It's a quaint, outdoor walking mall with buskers and food carts, amazing restaurants and the anchor of Boulder.
