Food is not very special, but in the Summer it's a very nice place to have a draft beer on the outdoor deck overlooking the river!

This super convenient store recently received a facelift. It is clean and very well stocked. They have almost anything you would need, including some household wares and organic food. Huge wine selection. Service is friendly too!

This is a must-see, especially if you have kiddos. It’s a preserved historic town with the streets shut down to cars. Our kids always enjoyed the jail, bowling alley and candy store where they will make some of the candy they sell.

We highly recommend hiking in the Emigrant Wilderness. Our favorite hike is to Powell Lake which is 4.6 miles from the trailhead. Breathtaking scenery and a beautiful small lake to swim in at the halfway point.

Heidi's Rentals is very closet to the cabin and you can rent snowboards, skis and snowshoes.

On the busy Summer weekends, and some weekdays we would recommend calling the Pinecrest Marina to reserve your kayaks, boats, party boats in advance. I think you can rent days in advance.

During busy times get to the Lake EARLY.
Pinecrest Lake is very popular during the Summer weekends, holidays and some weekdays. We recommend getting to the Lake by 10am to secure a parking spot. We have heard from a few guests that they got to the Lake later in the day, and had to turn around due to no parking spots available.
