My favorite brunch spot, without a question! They have an amazing mimosa AND Bloody Mary bar!!! Need I say more?!?! You must try their ricotta and honeycomb flatbread, it is truly a magical experience for your tastebuds!

If you’re craving American style brunch, Great Maple is the spot for you! From pancakes to cocktails, you will not be disappointed. Definitely try the maple bacon donuts, they’re famous!

My fiancé studied in China for 2 years and he rates this places as the most authentic Chinese experience in San Diego. Their dishes are all exceptionally tasty! Hand pulled noodles, fresh, craveworthy. Be prepared to try amazing flavor combinations and for potential splashes from the noodle dishes. You must try the Biang Biang noodles, Cumin Lamb with noodles, lotus roots and cucumber salad! A side of white rice is a great help so no flavor is left behind!

Taste as much as you can, I highly recommend SD Ginger Beer, Scratch BBQ, the Kenyan food, Thai coconut pancakes, and Majestic Garlic’s hummus, garlic spreads and pickled garlic. Have fun!
If you’re celebrating something special, you cannot leave San Diego without indulging in a piece of cake (and maybe even a glass of bubbly) from the amazing dessert heaven! Definitely call ahead to make a reservation because this place is definitely a popular spot, especially on weekends!
If you’re a chocolate fan, try my favorite, the Viking. Yes, it’s that epic! Chocolate crème brulee and milk chocolate cremeuse are hidden between chocolate cake layers. Crushed chocolate almond pralines surround this dark and dense torte.
Another delicious chocolate cake is the Truffe Framboise. Raspberry gelée layered between raspberry Darjeeling tea moistened chocolate cakes and bittersweet Valrhona Taïnori chocolate mousse. This gorgeous layer cake is finished with fresh raspberries on the top.
And last but certainly not least, the Gianduia! It is truly a delight! Valrhona chocolate mousse and hazelnut buttercream are married with boysenberry preserves and Myers’s Rum moistened cake layers. Crushed pralines, chocolate ganache, and fresh boysenberries finish off this chocolate layered cake.
What more could you want as a chocolate lover???

It’s a great place to walk around in the afternoon or evening. Pop up to Kettner Exchange rooftop lounge for a cocktail or grab gelato and coffee at Pappalecco, you can do it all in Little Italy!

If you want a taste of the nightlife scene, make a dinner reservation at Havana 1920, have a Mojito with your meal, head over to the rooftop bar across the street, Rustic Root for another cocktail, and then peruse over to Omnia for some Vegas-vibes!
