This Malaysian Canteen style has been a favorite in the area for many years. It has a great mix of meat and vegetarian meals and a really nice atmosphere. The staff are nice and friendly and you can sit and watch the goings on in the market from this spot. Reasonably priced and good food

Interesting fusion of Jamaican traditional foods and burger bar. I recommend the snapper burger and the plantain fries. It caters to both meat eaters and veggies. Serving a nice rum punch and a variety of Jamaican beers and rums (amongst others)

This is a great spot, they have a variety of Juices, smothies and a nice selection of healthy foods. However the pull for me is the juices, from fruity to detoxifying, or even if you just want to create your own they will do it. They do not skimp on the ingridients and you could literally replace a meal with their smoothies and juices. The building is very eyecatching and is hard to miss in psychedelic patterns and colours. Definately work a try (very good for post hangover too)

297 Portobello RdThis is a great spot, they have a variety of Juices, smothies and a nice selection of healthy foods. However the pull for me is the juices, from fruity to detoxifying, or even if you just want to create your own they will do it. They do not skimp on the ingridients and you could literally replace a meal with their smoothies and juices. The building is very eyecatching and is hard to miss in psychedelic patterns and colours. Definately work a try (very good for post hangover too)

This is a really nice Spanish restaurant serving a variety of meals and tapas. The tapas dishes are big and good value. they do a lovely jug of Sangria, but I highly recommend the Sangria Blanco (white sangria). The restaurant is located on a plaza and has lots of outdoor seating. The staff are nice but this place often gets very busy so if you may have to wait for a seat outdoors at times.

The tapas dishes are big and good value. they do a lovely jug of Sangria, but I highly recommend the Sangria Blanco (white sangria). The are very reasonably priced and its a good placed to take in the view of Portobello road. Even though it is outdoors, it is under the cover of the westway, so you are safe from the rain and elements

What can I say, its a takeaway fried chicken shop much like KFC. Usual buckets of chicken, burgers, fries....... this place is great for late night drinkers as it is open late. But this is by no means a gourmet restaurant
