Meat eaters don´t worry they got you covered with incredible steaks and burgers too. If you happen to be around on Monday Night be sure to join in on their signature curry nights!

They come very reccomended by most guests as they are just an all-rounder of a restaurant. I recommend a good Steak or a Seafood platter. Note that they can be a little more pricey.

Part of coming to Jeffreys bay is surfing and what better place to do that. This is one of the best surfing schools in Jeffreys bay and is SSA Qualified. They know their way around the waves and can be trusted with any age group from the youngest to the oldest. If you are interested let the host know and we will arrange a 10% discount.

Port Elizabeth is about an hour drive from Jeffreys Bay, this is where the airport is situated. I wouldn't recommend spending the day there as it is very much just like any other city. Once you have landed, make your way over to the car hire and come through to Jeffreys bay and enjoy a full day here instead.

Definitely worth the drive! Located about 30 mins from Jeffreys bay is a beautiful town called St Francis Bay. I would definitely recommend driving through to go see the beautiful beaches, white houses and go through to the Harbour and have some local caught Fish and Chips.

Jbay Cabs are Great. They also do airport pickups.
In a small town we dont have Uber, we do however have the taxi service called Jbay Cabs. Their offices are located about 100m from the apartment you can either enquire for a taxi there or give them a call at +27 83 611 1003.

Respect the locals in the water & Restaurants
The Locals of Jeffreys bay are always super friendly! However for those who surf keep in mind that the locals live here and therefore should be respected in the water, keep surfing rules and ethics in mind.
Also, in South Africa we have a 10% tipping policy when you go to restaurants so please remember to tip your waiters accordingly.

A bit of everything
The weather in Jeffreys bay can be very unpredictable. When you pack keep in mind that we almost always have 4 seasons in one day. Definitely bring the summer clothes but remember a warm jacket just to be safe.
