Built in 1875.Long Point Lighthouse, one of the most photographed landmarks on the Northeast Coast of Newfoundland, is located at Crow Head, Twillingate. More than 300 feet above sea level, this is a lookout point where thousands of visitors every year enjoy the panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean with the possibility of viewing icebergs, whales, seals and sea birds.

Sleepy Cove was once a Copper Mine and then a Municipal Park. If you enjoy hiking there is also a hiking trails that boost amazing ocean scenery.

The winery makes berry wines made from Newfoundland and Labrador berries. Located at the winery is a tasting room, guided tours, purchase area, gift store, sandwich and ice-cream shop. Offering wine tours every half hour during peak season. Our 20 flavors of wines can be tasted and purchased at the gift store. Puffins Eats and Treats - sandwiches made fresh, muffins, cookies, tea and coffee, wine cream (soft serve and hard).

At the Twillingate Museum, you are treated to a sampling of our community’s history and traditions. The Museum, housed in the former Anglican Rectory, was built in 1915. Nearby stands St. Peter’s Anglican Church, one of the oldest wooden churches in Newfoundland.
Inside the Museum, rooms feature a variety of exhibits to delight young and old, the history buff as well as the casual, but interested, visitor.
Former and present members of the Girl Guide movement will find items of interest in the Guiding Exhibit. Beothuk artifacts, marine memorabilia, historical photographs, hunting tools, musical instruments, arts and crafts are just a few of the additional items found in the extensive collection at the Twillingate Museum.
