Breadsticks are delicious here and soft drinks are typical. If you do not want to eat out of a cardboard pizza box, feel free to bring your pizza back to the Yardley Inn and plate it on China dishes and drink your soft drink out of crystal goblets if that’s your style.

Easy hike from the main road up 500 South to Manti Canyon to a beautiful waterfall 1.5 miles beyond Lake Yearn. Set your odometer at Lake Yearn and then you won’t miss it. Park there to the left of the well-maintained two lane dirt road and walk up about 300 yards. Fun picnic place if you bring a lunch and a blanket.
Milky Falls

Beautiful little spot to fish or peacefully paddle board. I’ve seen a six year old pull fish after fish out of this reservoir! Often you’ll spot deer, or free range cattle above and behind it. Picnic tables and camp sites around the opposite shore are welcome spots for groups. The mountains are 10 degrees cooler than Main Street.

We are a fifteen minute walk to this beautiful historic Pioneer built temple that houses two unsupported, built by hand spiral staircases that are two of 7 in the entire world! Lovely grounds. This temple is being refurbished and will open again to the public for an open house before being rededicated in October of 2023.

With 3,400 homes and no traffic light, the charm of this "village" is that one can walk from our place, the historic Yardley Inn and Spa, to the pioneer museum, the library, unique shops on Main Street like Candies on Main, Wildflower, diners and pizza and a restaurant, Manti Mercantile and Jensen's, the only department store in the county, walk around the grounds of the beautiful pioneer built temple (third temple built by the Latter-day Saints in this dispensation), or swing down the road 5 or 6 miles either way to get to Ephraim, a college town with lots of dining and a Walmart, plays and concerts, or go south to Sterling and Lake Palisade and Palisades Golf Course and lake.
Just minutes up the hill you'll run into Yearns Reservoir for picnicking and hiking, and Milky Falls, a beautiful waterfall. Go on higher and enjoy ATV-ing or four wheeling on Skyline Drive, the highest, longest ATV trail in the west, at 10,000 feet elevation and watch the wildlife! Nature's paradise, right here.

Drive ATV’s anywhere in town without a license; just go 15 mph or less. Bikes will get you anywhere We have no Uber drivers …yet…there are only 3400 homes here!

An unlicensed ATV or UTV is permissible. Just stay under 16 mph and use all the roads except Main Street, which is a highway 89 so UDOT controlled.
