Lol Ha has been around for quite a while, and it all began with Laura and Dave about 30 years ago. What is now the round palapa bar at the Lol Ha Beach Bar, was the entire restaurant that Laura and Dave took over to serve drinks on the beach.
Over time, they expanded the palapa bar to include a snack bar with food as well. They taught their crew to make good hamburgers and fries, and their crew taught them to make good cochinita pibil, a classic Mayan dish.
As time went by, the snack bar grew in popularity but our small beach bar palapa still exists and serves as our bar today!

They only use Carnaroli rice – the “king of the rice”; thanks to its particular characteristics and firm texture the Carnaroli grain maintains its shape during the slow cooking required for a perfect and creamy risotto.

The best beach club in Playa del Carmen! It's right down the block from the Maya Villa and you are right on the beach! The atmosphere and view is amazing. You can see the sun set over the ocean at 6 pm, and wiggled your toes in the nice warm sand at you can eat dinner on the beach. The food is fantastic and the service amazing. Staff is very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this venue for any type of gathering.

The wooden path that is located there is about 2 meters (8 feet) is a platform that allows children and adults to have fun jumping into the water.
