It's an Italian restaurant-cafe, 3 minutes from the apartment. It's a solid choice, because it's 24h open and it has big portions if you want to eat(mostly pizza and spaghetti), but it's also famous for it's sweet croissants (with chocolate/cream filling and glazed strawberries/cherries) and tasty sandwiches, perfect for breakfast on the go!

We recommend this restaurant if you want to eat fish and seafood in general. It's located in a peaceful pedestrian area, near Syggrou Fix metro station (which is 5' from our apartment by bus), and it has great service and reasonable prices!

A modern coffee shop/restaurant, open from 7 am. They offer really good coffee (the best in the neighborhood imho!) and in the morning you can usually find businessmen enjoying their coffee/breakfast and newspapers before they get to their jobs.
You can also enjoy your dinner there, the place gets quite fancy in the evening!

The Pnyx was used for popular assemblies in Athens as early as 507 BC. It was then outside the city proper, but close enough to be convenient. It looks down on the ancient Agora, which was the commercial and social centre of the city.
At this site all the great political struggles of Athens of the "Golden Age" were fought out. Pericles, Aristides and Alcibiades spoke here, within sight of the Parthenon, temple of Athena.
It's a great place for a walk, feels like you're taking a stroll in side history..
