Italian (although my most favorite Italian restaurant in all of the Charleston area is The Wild Olive on John's Island...it's a little bit of a drive but so worth it in my opinion!).

Great water views on the Ashley River, splash pad open during warmer months, fantastic music events, historic homes and a great park/gathering pavilion. There is a brand new elevated walkway over Noisette Creek that Architectural Digest just mentioned in their list of Top 11 Elevated Walkways in the world! This is where Highwater Festival is held every April. You can walk to this (if you're up for it) and it's about 5 miles roundtrip.
