Open daily except Wednesday, Salt Fork Stables is a western horseback riding facility in Winterset, Ohio, located 3 miles east of Salt Fork State Park on State Route 22.
Trail ride rates are (Per Rider):
$20 for 1 hour
$30 for 1.5 hours
Ride through about 10 miles of beautiful wooded trails. They normally take rides out at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm. There are also 6 p.m. rides, by appointment only. Please call (740) 630 – 7647 or (740) 489 – 5018 to make reservations.
For safety reasons, they cannot take anyone younger than 7 on the trails, but they do offer hand-led horse rides around the barn for younger visitors.
