Langcliffe has a great village institute that does amazing tea and cakes for local charities. The village green has the most amazing flowers during Spring and Summer. The villagers keep their own bees

Famous for its waterfall walk which is a little expensive but very nice. You can walk up Ingleborough the 2nd highest of Yorkshires 3 peaks from here and come back to visit the award winning sourdough making bakery SEASONS

Clapham has a lovely pub the and fantastic village community run shop. From the National parks car park where there are public toilets You can access footpaths that will take you across fields to Austwick, or up the nature trail to the famous show cave Gaping Ghyll or a slightly longer route to Ingleborough

Only a 20 minute drive and then a short walk will take you to the foot of this spectacular feature. Malham itself has lots of cafes and pubs but be warned weekends and holidays get very busy. Get there early and park in the National Park car park

This is the smallest of Yorkshires 3 peaks but by far my favourite as it is nearest to Settle. If you fancy a long walk from the house it'll be around 17 miles or you can drive to either Helwith Bridge or Horton-in-Ribblesdale for a shorter walk

I love walking ingleborough from Ingleton as parking is better than in Horton and there are more places to purchase gear if you have forgotten your walking socks. There’s also super post route refreshment cafes and a Coop

My favourite routes
If you fancy a 10 mile loop from the house either on foot or mountain or gravel/x bike then get yourself out on this stunning loop. It is a bridleway offering a mixture of terrain but if it gets too steep or technical for your riding skills you can just hop off and push!
